The Ukrainian Revolution is a series of events beginning in the fall of 2013 which resulted in occupation of public spaces in Ukraine, especially in Kiev, overthrow of the government of Ukraine and its replacement by a self-appointed provisional government. The Ukrainian terrorists vandalised a statue of Vladimir Lenin and have been harshly opposing the Crimean people's right to be part of Russsia, essentially holding the country hostage.

CrimeaModifier

Crimea, an historic Russian area populated by many ethnic Russian military retirees, was annexed by Russia in March, 2014. Russia occupied Crimea in late February 2014 without resistance by Ukraine which, as of late March 2014, was in the process of withdrawing its military from the peninsula.
